Genshin Impact Leaks: SKIRK CONFIRMED!!! ALL UPCOMING CHARACTERS | Lansan, Dahlia, Ifa, Mizuki, Varesa

Okay, we need to talk about these confirmed playable characters because I’m sure you will recognize a lot of them. We also have some early news talking about a potential release date for them too. And the source is Flying Flame. Be skeptical of the dates, but the thing to note is Hoyo has indeed confirmed these characters to be playable in the Natan patch. Yes, these characters are coming to Natan. Also, if you still don’t think this is real, it clearly says “new characters preview.”

Playable Characters

Let’s start with SKIRK. Yes, she is confirmed to be playable in the future and is said to be Cryo. That is crazy! I have no clue how the power scaling is going to be since, you know, during the Fontaine Archon Quest, she did some crazy things that even our Hydro Dragon was questioning his own powers. Is she going to be a lore-accurate SKIRK? I hope so, but knowing these games, most likely not. But I do hope they make her one of the best DPS or whatever she will do with the best animations. That’s all I’m hoping for from SKIRK. Better wish on her because we all know what Hoyo does to Cryo characters. She is allegedly releasing on 5.7 or 5.8. Also, full stop, Chan has said SKIRK should be in 5.7, so yeah, start saving for SKIRK everyone.

Next one is Lansan. We all know her. I don’t think I need to give an intro or anything. The only thing we don’t know is if she is a five-star or four-star. She is said to be releasing in 5.4.

Talking about 5.4, there is another character in it called Mizuki. Don’t know if these names are final, but yeah, you probably heard the news of an Inazuma five-star girl character, and well, this is allegedly her.

Moving on from that onto Ifa. This looks to be Ifa since they did mention him before showing this and also we know Ifa as a tall male model from Nlin. The pet thing is from Knin and also since everything fits perfectly into the puzzle, this is indeed Ifa. No clue if he is a five-star or not. He is said to be coming in 5.5.

The next character I’m sure many know because bro has been data mined since Fontaine, if I’m not wrong. His name is Dalia, at least in the concept art it was. His model surprisingly looks very similar to what we have seen already. He is said to be from Mad and that is all. I mean, there is more, but it’s better to wait. He is said to be released on 5.6. Again, please remember that these release dates are super early news and should not be taken 100%.

Now we have two more characters left. They also talked about Varesa, and it is said that this is her. I don’t think we have a lot on her other than the lore in the game. She is said to be in 5.5 as well.

Lastly, we have this character who is said to be from Fontaine. I don’t know if this is the goth girl or not. Maybe it is, maybe it is not. I mean, they have made crazy changes to the concept art in the past. I just feel like it’s her.

Skirk’s Element: Cryo or Something Else?

Since all of the upcoming characters officially got revealed, everyone has been wondering what element Skirk will be. According to leaks, she will be Cryo. However, this leak seems to be extremely unreliable, and in this video, we are going to talk about why that is and also what element she could be instead. With that being said, let’s get right into it.

Cryo Leak and its Issues

All right, so as we can see, according to Fall Stop Chan, which is a pretty reliable leaker, Skirk is going to be Cryo and she’s going to be released in version 5.7 or 5.8. Now, first of all, what really bothers me about this leak is that we literally got that information about Skirk right after the live stream, which is pretty strange. Because like, if he already knew about Skirk and her element and all that, why didn’t he just tell us before? It just doesn’t make any sense. And by the way, the same thing goes for all the other leaks that we got right after the live stream. If they already had all this information about all these upcoming characters and Schnees, why didn’t they just tell us before? It just doesn’t make any sense. Like, just think about it. Before they showed us the upcoming characters in the live stream, all the leakers were completely silent, nothing, no information about Skurk, no information about Schnees, or anything else. And somehow, exactly after the live stream in which they showed us the upcoming characters, somehow now these leakers know every single thing and every single detail about all the upcoming characters. So that is very suspicious, and I think that all these leaks we got after the live stream, I think those are all just predictions and speculations. I don’t think those are actual leaks because, as I said before, the live stream there was zero information about anything. We had completely nothing, every leaker was completely silent, and somehow after the live stream, all of a sudden they knew every single thing.

Why Cryo Might Not Make Sense

But with that out of the way, I want to talk about why I think Cryo wouldn’t even make sense as an element for Skirk in the first place. Now, we all know in the Fontaine Archon Quest she had that sort of Abyss or Quantum power, which also really fits her design. Now that I think about it, because she kind of looks like she’s from Honkai: Star Rail, and we thought that she would be released in like, Kria or something since she had her own unique element. So this is taking a very unexpected direction. But the fact that she will be released in a few months really makes me wonder if they’re going to actually give her her own unique specific element or if they’re just going to make her Cryo or Electro. Now, my theory is that she will be an Electro or Cryo character just so she can fit the current element types. But I think she’s going to have her own mechanics and her own unique playstyle. I definitely think she’s going to be the most unique DPS we’ve had so far. But honestly, I think there’s definitely some potential for her to introduce a completely new element because Cryo needs a buff anyway, right? So it could be something that works with Cryo, or it could be something completely different. There is a lot, there is a lot of things they could do with it. There’s so much potential, and also keep in mind, Hoyoverse is not that stupid. It wouldn’t make sense for them to show us her Quantum mechanics in the Archon Quest just for them to make her a normal Cryo character in the end.
